TASM Lab - The Big Picture
This somewhat middling painting's only gag is that there is nude women standing around without any other good reason for being there. Gerome was always said to have a strange habit of catching people while they bathe to be his subject matter. This doesn't even have that pretense (not that I dare to make any comparisons to Gerome...maybe after about 200 more years of practice). This painting was given to my friend Kari, who probably has it rolled up under her bed or in a closet or something. It's water color, about 30"x40".
